General Hospital Spoilers: Chad Duell and Katelyn MacMullen Poke Fun At Steve Burton & Maurice Benar
General Hospital (GH) spoilers has some fun news to pass along about a popular GH star and his costars. Chad Duell, who portrays Michael Corinthos on the ABC soap, recently posted a short video on his Instagram account that poked fun at two of his costars, Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos).
In the video, which was clearly staged for effect, Chad and Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Tait) walk into Maurice’s dressing room while Maurice is ostensibly getting ready to film a video. Chad and Katelyn act all concerned about a problem they’re having.
They then show Maurice a tiny leather motorcycle jacket that they claim belongs to Steve Burton’s and they have accidentally shrunk in the wash.
As GH viewers know, Steve frequently wears a black motorcycle jacket on the show when he’s in character as Jason. Anyway, Chad and Katelyn humorously feign concern that Steve will find out about the jacket shrinkage and get angry. Maurice laments that Steve’s going to be very unhappy about it.
Chad then looks out the door and says that Steve’s on his way, and he and Katelyn scramble to hide the jacket so that he doesn’t see it. Maurice holds the jacket up for the camera, then tells Chad to put it in a drawer.
Chad opens one of Maurice’s drawer and finds a sexy, shirtless picture of Maurice from several years ago and holds it up, while Katelyn says, “What is that?”
It’s pretty funny and it’s worth watching – you can see the video below. Chad’s followers have responded well to the video, with many remarking how funny the whole thing is. One follower commented: “Wow, I was so laughing when I saw that little jacket. Prankster on the loose.”
And another follower said: “Love to see you guys having such a great time!! That was a good one.” And finally, someone commented: “I love this trio…Hopefully we get to see more Willow and Michael.”
It is great to see GH cast members having fun behind the scenes and enjoying each other’s company…and poking fun at each other as well. And regarding that last follower’s comment, we just might get to see more scenes with Willow and Michael as the action heats up this week on the show.
As GH fans know, both Willow and Michael were recently horrified by Nelle Benson Archer’s (Chloe Lanier) latest stunt – that is, filing for sole and full legal custody of Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). The two may just join forces to keep Nelle as far away from Wiley as possible.
